A Great Place to Spend Your Time
Located just a stone's throw from the Schenectady County Airport, the Center provides exciting social experiences for seniors (aged 55 or more), including organized games, sports leagues, exercise classes, social events, bus trips, a daily lunch program, local transportation, and more.
And Things Are Even Better!
On Friday, September 18th, 2020, we celebrated the long-awaited opening of the new addition to the Glenville Senior Center. The new space includes a dedicated office for senior volunteers, a new classroom for increased programming and a recreation room complete with pool table, shuffle board table and large screen television.
While the coronavirus has curtailed some of our activities at the present, this new space will allow for a wider array of activities to be provided in the future.
Senior Center Library
Our library houses a collection of popular fiction and nonfiction books. We also have a selection of large print books for members to borrow. Books are to be signed in and out on the clip board. The library has two computers for member use and printing is available at 10 cents a page.
Other activities and program are offered through the month.
